Patricia Ann Bryant

Patricia Ann Bryant (Pat), 74, was welcomed into heaven on Sunday, April 30, 2023. She was born on May 06, 1948, in Akron, Ohio, to Joseph and Margaret (nee Faycak) Hornacak. Pat was a resident of New Franklin for 48 years and was a parishioner at St. Francis de Sales Parish for over 50 years. She entered the workforce after being widowed at a young age and worked as a tax preparer while raising her son and daughter, playing the role of mother and father in a time when that wasn’t common. Despite these struggles, she always provided her children with a loving home. In addition to golf and bowling, Pat enjoyed crafts such as baking, sewing, and decorative arts. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Hornacak, her husband, Rodney Bryant, brother Richard Hornacek, and sister Sandra Sabol. She is survived by her son, Jason Bryant, and daughter Kristie (Dan) Fitzgerald. She is also survived by her sister, Denise (Dana) Cramer, and nephew, Jeffrey Cramer; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Hornacek, nephews Christopher Hornacek and Richard Hornacek, niece, Melissa Nosel, nephew, Ronny Sabol and niece, Jennifer Darrah. We are blessed to have had her in our lives.

Family and friends are invited to a Catholic Memorial Funeral Mass on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 1:00 pm, at St. Francis de Sales Parish, 4019 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319, with Fr. David Verbsky officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis de Sales Parish.
