Fritz C. Hercules

Fritz C. Hercules passed away January 9, 2018 after a short illness. He was born in Akron, Ohio on May 29, 1937. Preceded in death by parents, Nelson and Louella (Betty) Hercules and sister, Francis Fabian, he is survived by loving wife of 35 years Susan, brothers, Thomas (Patricia), and John (Dale), his children, Charles (Rhea) Hercules , Debra (Mark) Kendel, Jeanne Trezza, Rebecca Rodregous and step-son Robert (Debbie) Kitchen, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He worked for Hercules Mason Contractor for 37 years and was a proud member of Laborers Local 894 for the past 45 years. In retirement he has kept busy with his wingman, his grandson Jacob Kendel. He also worked part time for Rick and George Arsic at 1.2.3 Disposal Company, and continued his hobbies of gardening, fishing, and grilling. And of course he loved his many cross country trips to Las Vegas with his wife Susan.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday January 21st at 2:00 pm at Houston Hall, 3069 Houston Rd, Norton, OH. After a short service we will enjoy dinner and beverages as Fritz wanted it.  Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on January 22 at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association.
