Mack Edward Ledford

Mack E Ledford, 86, passed away November 25, 2023.  He was born in Murphy, North Carolina to Homer and Lea (nee Crowder) Ledford and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. with forty-one years of service.

Mack was a true committed family man who would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  He could work on and fix almost anything. He did enjoy fishing but was happiest when watching his grandchildren at any of their sporting events.

Mack was preceded in death by the true love of his life, his wife, Yvonne, brother, J C Ledford and sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Howard Johnson.  He is survived by daughter, Glenda Levin, son, Scott Ledford, grandchildren, Morgan (Emanuel), Daniele (Michael) Bilfield, Kylie and great granddaughter, Carson, brothers, Homer (Betty), Jerry “Horace” (Linda), sisters, Betty (Edward) Symons, Sally (John) Bandy and many nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 1 pm at House of Eberhardt Funeral Home, 472 W Turkeyfoot Lk Rd. (Rt. 619), Portage Lakes.  Calling hours will be Wednesday 11:30 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Private interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
