Charles Alan Kemppel

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles A. Kemppel.  Charles was born on January 28, 1946, in Akron, OH but was a resident of Green, OH for the last 43 years.  He leaves behind the love of his life for 57 years, Patricia Kemppel, and four children: David (Teri) Kemppel, Charles J. (Sherry) Kemppel, Lisa (Tim) Henderson, and Laura (Joel) Slone.  Charles also leaves behind his grandchildren who love him dearly, Buddy (Haley) Nolan, Joey (Lori) Ward, Crystal Ward (Io Battaglia), Veronica (Jacob) Myers, Eric Pamer, Joshua Kemppel, Brittany (Anthony) Day, Michelle (David) Walton Katie Henderson, Molly Henderson, and Nine great grandchildren. Charles had a full and wonderful life.  He served his country in the US Air Force for 4 years.  It was while Charles was in the Air Force that he and Patricia met on a blind date, and he always told everyone that the moment he laid his eyes on her, he knew he was meant to be with her for the rest of his life.   Patricia and Charles enjoyed many years of fun and adventures.  After Charles retired, he and Patricia spent countless hours working on their gardens and traveling to different antique shops.  He enjoyed collecting antique tools and spent many hours in his woodworking shop building and tinkering with his tools.  Charles and Patricia had a relationship that not many have, and he loved her more than anything.  We find comfort in knowing that he is in heaven watching over her until they meet again.   We love you, Dad!

Cremation has taken place and there are no funeral services planned.
